Dr. Alisha Matreja is from South Brunswick, New Jersey and received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She attended the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
During dental school, Dr. Matreja was a member of the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society and received the New Jersey Dental Association award for her time on the NJDA Board of Trustees as the student representative. She then completed her postgraduate General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, a level I trauma center, before working at a private practice in New Jersey.
When she is not reinforcing her dental skills, Dr. Matreja enjoys experimenting with new recipes, spending quality time with her family, and discovering all that San Francisco has to offer.
